You walk right up to the Truth (the coin had the image of one who himself claimed to be a god) and then spit on it in rejection. JESUS did not turn the coin into an idol of worship, he did not ask of the image that it perform supernatural things for Him. Catholicism appoints to the statuary the idolatry because those petitioning the one for whom the images are made are seeking supernatural things which ONLY from the TRUE God are come/derived.

It is certain you can see the huge difference. I doubt you will obtain anything from the rejection of the TRUTH of it.
