You will note what I have posted from Exodus 20:3-17 is directly from Exodus as clearly labeled at the top Left hand side of the table. The post on the right is from Rome's sources beginningcatholic.com and the Traditional Cathechetical Formula from the CCC.
I have not edited the passage from Exodus. It is Rome who has done so.
You do know the Catholic version is based on Deuteronomy, right?
The CCC cites both Exodus and Deuteronomy regarding the Ten Commandments.http://www.vatican.va/archive/ccc_css/archive/catechism/command.htm
I post below both the passages from Exodus and Deuteronomy in comparison with how Rome presents these in various places.

4You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. 5You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me,6but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. | 8You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. 9You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, 10but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. | |
7You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain. | 11You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain. | You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. |
