As a teacher in more than one Protestant denomination over the decades, I have yet to cite Luther, ever. I have however spent hours and hours preparing exposition on Paul's teaching and writing since it is inspired by The Holy Spirit.
Perhaps, but if you are teaching "sola fide" then you are teaching the invention of Martin Luther. That you do not credit him but claim that it is from the Bible does not change that this teaching is Luther's invention.
