“Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.”
Jeremiah 17:14

“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
Mark 10:52

I will join you in prayers for healing. Please add my husband Gary to the list. Thank you for this thread.

“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. Mark 10:52

Your post and the words in the original thread and title, are rather prophetic.

In the book that bears his name, Jeremiah said, “Heal me, Hashem, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved because You are my praise” (17:14). This verse is incorporated in its entirety into the prayer for health, only changing Jeremiah’s singular to the plural (“heal us,” “save us,” etc.). Refuah (healing) refers to repairing damaged body parts; yeshuah (salvation) refers to reinvigorating us with strength and vigor as if new.

The intent of this verse appears to be that if God heals us, then we are truly healed. It can also be understood that God is the only true Healer. No matter what the doctor may prescribe, we can only be healed if God wills it. If He heals us, we will be healed, otherwise not. This idea is supported by the next part, which says that God is our praise. If we are healed, He is the One to praise for doing so, not any hospital or pharmacy. (This does not absolve one from seeking medical attention. God expects us to do our part even though the ultimate result is up to Him.)

and we will all pray for your complete healing and freedom from all anxiety by name to the Divine Physician and in prayer may we all be drawn nearer to each other in unity with our brother, Lord and Savior Christ Jesus who desires that we all be as one.

Refuah shlema: "complete healing"

Please pray for all those that are getting tests and awaiting results that may indicate a serious cancer.

To make a comparison and offer positive feedback (what looks like another absurd rant on symbolism):

We've seen in this election just how an entrenched Establishment [that had almost succeeded in beating everyone down and stamping out all hope for recovery] could be trumped, just like that, by a man coming along with the truth and speaking it plainly and boldly. There is much work to be done, but hope - which was thought to be dead - is yet alive. All one needs is the amount the size of a sesame seed.

There are many dreadful conditions in the world of disease, but the quintessential "scariest" one is that word cancer. We know it is used as a metaphor for all sorts of deeply embedded ills, like a bureaucracy, because a bureaucracy is metastatic by nature, seemingly impossible to eradicate once it gets a toehold.

The point is that the physical world is clever and highly deceptive. What appears impossible to man is possible with God, and merely with the flip of a switch no less, like a light switch. The 2016 election is evidence in plain sight.

That word cancer - it's terrible. Nobody but nobody wants to hear it. But it's very close in sound to the word answer. The "Big C" as it is called, is a letter that looks the same on paper, but in reality has different sounds. It's going to die of its own dead weight just like that. C = see, and what is a hard c can switch to a soft s or sw with the addition of an e (or i).

The word of God is way more literal than people might think. What is seen cannot be unseen, so have faith in a positive outcome, a complete healing, as if worry or sickness never even happened.

Hebrews 11

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

One seed:

A sesame seed is lit. an oil seed, and "Open Sesame" is a word play off of the "name of heaven". The very word for oil (shemen) is the substance of its name, which is interconnected with the word shem, name.

"Open Sesame" - the idiomatic and silly literary-derived "secret code" for discovering a cave full of treasure (of making a stone roll away from a cave, or tomb).

What I just mentioned about the oil-name can be likened to a food being named "food". Not so silly:

Etymology and languages
The word "sesame" is from Latin sesamum or Greek sesamon; derived from Arabic semsem. From these roots, words with the generalized meaning “oil, liquid fat” were derived.

Origins
Sesame seed is considered to be the oldest oilseed crop known to humanity.

Opening a seed releases the oil. Manna, the bread from heaven:

Numbers 11:8 And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground [tachan] it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.

The word to grind [tachan] is the root of the word tahini. Again, it's like a food being named food. The name for sesame paste IS the entire concept (process of grinding the oil seed that is the name of oil itself).

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

"Open Sesame". Every child knows the secret code while the adults would rather make fun of the goofy phrase.

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Christ - Messiah: the meaning is the one who is anointed [with the anointing oil].

Sesame Seed Oil has been used as a healing oil for thousands of years and the list of benefits of sesame seed oil is long.

Psalms 80

3 Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
4 O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
5 Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
6 Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.
7 Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Bread of tears - sounds awful but look how easy to rectify, because sesame seeds are the shape of tears:

Prayers for all of those who are in the dark, divided, afflicted, and afraid.

John 6:33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

"Open Sesame"
