It’s with a heavy heart I tell you my brother Mark passed last night at 11:30 PM. He never woke up again after the first surgery, nor the emergency surgery the following day to stop the bleeding into his breathing tubes. His poor wife Patti is in complete meltdown mode. Like you Spunky, she doesn’t know what she’s going to do or how she’s going to survive without him. She’s been with him since she was 16, so only 48 years compared to your 61 years. My heart and prayers goes out to you both at this time in your lives. It’s going to be a hard adjustment, but with God’s help in addition to family and friends you will both make it through the worst of it I am positive.FReeper Vipper needs our prayers for her brother Mark, his wife Patti and her Mom. Click Here to Reply to VipperThe whole family is all within 10-30 minutes from each other. My mom just had a meltdown of sorts this coming after her own 4th stage bladder cancer diagnosis, so my sister Phylis is with her now. The youngest sibling Renee, who is the recipient of my late sister Cheryl’s kidney before she died from breast cancer is the one doing all the arrangements. It’s all so sad. There were nine siblings, we are down to seven now. Cheryl was 49 when she passed away, but she saved Renee before that happened as she was perfect match. There is always joy mixed in with the sadness in life I have found. I intend to celebrate Mark’s life rather than mourn it.
