Abba Father, we know that the American falling away has given opportunity to rulers of darkness to set up strongholds throughout our land. One of these is Minneapolis, which calls itself Paganistan. Paganistan is home to those who hate you, modern Nimrods, God-hating Socialists who dream strange dreams of utopia set apart from God. As well, O Lord, many of her citizens practice sorcery, divination, necromancy, and magic (Zechariah 10:2, Isaiah 19-20, 2 Chronicles 33:6). In the darkness of their minds, Paganistan's Nimrods and pagans imagine they are good and enlightened when they are really sinful, deceived, and under the power and influence of rulers of darkness. In their deception O Lord, they imagine that if they disband the police department that peace, social justice, and harmony will prevail. But we fear that all hell will break out. Heavenly Father, many of Your faithful sons and daughters as well as people of good will live there and we fear for their safety. Please Lord, hear our urgent prayer and protect Your sons and daughters and people of good will as only You can from mobs, looters, and other evil doers energized by rulers of darkness.
