Your comment; “And the Roman church continues to let known homosexuals be priests and administer sacraments all the while claiming they condemn homosexuality.
What hypocrisy!”
So this is a greater sin than adultery?
Yes, the Catholic church has sinners as members and priests, and the mission of the Church is to lead them to Heaven with Jesus.
Is it always successful? Probably not. I believe that the Catholic church is successful in leading many to eternal life with Jesus by providing the Truth to the faithful. One man or one priest’s sins do not change the teaching of Jesus or His Church.
Let’s condemn all sins and help all by teaching the Truth.
Evasion and deflection does not change what I said.
Roman Catholicism does not practice what it preaches. That is called *hypocrisy*.
Their actions show what they truly believe. The words are merely lip service so they can go around and finger point and look down their noses at others while they try to claim the high moral ground.
I have personally known some Evangelical pastors who committed adultery and they were IMMEDIATELY removed from the pulpit and their credentials were yanked. I know that in those churches as well, that members who live in adulterous relationships are either not allowed to become members or have their membership revoked.
Church discipline IS practiced in the Evangelical churches I’ve attended.

Yet your church teaches one cannot know they have eternal life in contrast to what is revealed in Scripture.
Lets condemn all sins and help all by teaching the Truth.
Welcome to the New Testament belief that ALL sin is to be condemned.
