All of this, far as I can see, comes from the ‘One True Church’ vanity.
Trying to cover up pedos? If they became known, people might leave the ‘One True Church.’ Can’t have that, so let’s just move them around!
When they DO become known, self-introspection is impossible, because One True Church, so they CAN’T be wrong by definition! So it must happen everywhere else instead.
And of course, the fact that they’re being taught that Protestant/Evangelical Christians are the devil, well... When their Pope is anti-Christian and pro-Communist, they HAVE to be the One True Church, so IT’S ALL THE PROTESTANTS’ FAULT REEEEEEEEEE.
Now, if the people around here that we’ve clashed with just defended their beliefs, I’d be fine with that. I’m sure I’d be fighting with them quite a bit too, but at least it’d be over something worthwhile.
The problem that I personally have is when they try to shift the blame of THEIR problems onto US.
You forgot the part about the pedos, prochoicers, etc. aren't "really" Catholics. We have several on these threads who adamantly claim that even their current Pope isn't Catholic!
