Just for your information, Pope Francis was in the middle of it all along, had a hospital arranged, and got Alfie citizenship, Brits forbade Alfie and his parents to leave Britain. I don’t agree with him often, but he did not wait to speak after he was dead.

To make it worse, what did anyone from all the other 20,000 Christian denominations do? Not even a word, much less action.

I am no fan of this pope, and in fact think he's the worst pope in centuries, but he did actually bother this while Alfie was alive and met with the dad and advocated for them. First (and probably last) time I've thought he did a decent job with anything.
