I haven’t seen an example of this with the Quran being superimposed over the Bible before, but I have seen examples of Christian scholars reusing paper from pagan manuscripts to write down Bible passages—not as plagiarism, but simply recycling the same paper. It seems to have been a common practice when paper was scarce.
