No longer content with widespread acceptance, activists are fighting to eliminate any program aimed at helping those struggling with same-sex attraction or gender identity
OKLAHOMA CITY, April 3, 2018 /Christian Newswire/ -- "The level of hatred and bullying is not like anything we've seen," says Stephen Black, who lived as a gay man for 8 years, over 35 years ago, and now Executive Director of First Stone Ministries is in the crosshairs of gay activists.
Black is the author of a ground-breaking book that reveals that 70-percent of people who want freedom from a destructive same-sex lifestyle find it. In Freedom Realized Black and his colleagues examined 25 years of case files and found incontrovertible evidence that people can and do change.
On April 6, First Stone Ministries (firststone.org) is hosting a public screening of the documentary film, Tranzformed: Finding Peace with Your God-Given Gender (tranzformed.org/). "This documentary is about 15 people who were unhappy as homosexuals and transgendered and wanted more in their relationship with Jesus Christ," says Black. Gay activists have already sent death threats to a Michigan pastor and his family and are now setting their sights on Black.
Gay advocate and protestor, Sara Cunningham, vowed to close First Stone Ministries (she appealed for a $25,000 grant from Starbucks for her mission). Her goal is to mobilize and eliminate any mention of the possibility of change, even if people want it and even if it means a transformed life. "To agree to disagree on this issue and this type of ministry is no longer acceptable," says Cunningham. But Black sees it differently, "In the last ten years, there has been an increasing attack on the gospel-centered message of freedom from homosexuality." About time that happened; that perverse lifestyle is destroying the nation.
I saw a family that completely encouraged their son to be gay - it became the sole focus, going to gay marches, talking about it constantly, trying to convince everyone in church that this was normal.
i wonder if the son was actually gay or pushed into it.
it’s a sickness with some, a path to feeling more self-righteous than others, and giving their empty lives a purpose.
Sounds like Sara Cunningham is living a dull pitiful life filled with nothing buy hate she won’t live long.
I have Christian friends whose daughter keeps telling her little 6 year old son that she’s sure he’s gay.
And these people call themselves Christians.

It used to rightly be viewed as just one variation on sexual excess.
That is why so many who indulge one excess eventually indulge others.
It is actually not any form of functional sexuality, it is eroticism: fetishizing someone of the same sex.
Homosexuality is a relatively modern, and erroneous, word that should never have been coined.

You might find a quick search of interest. Go to the college textbooks used in abnormal Psych classes from the sixties. The check out the following editions to those texts as they ‘evolve’ the subject of homosexuality. The progression moves from aberrant sexual behavior dangerous to health, to not even being listed as ‘an alternate lifestyle’. Aberrant destructive behavior has been normalized. Predictably for dead souls, homos remain aberrant beings with twisted souls, beings who choose to be defined by their sexual lusts, demanding that healthy heterosexuals accept them and their aberrant behavior as normal and not in any way a danger to children. Homosexuality is a disease deep within the soul.
