I saw “I Can Only Imagine” this weekend and it is truly a magnificent, inspirational film. Many of you may need a hankie at the end.
I may go see this later in the week...haven’t been to a movie in a long time.
I’ve seen them both. They’re both excellent.
I saw ICOI Saturday with my wife. The theater was packed, lots of elderly folks were there, probably glad to finally see a movie with old fashioned values. A couple were in wheelchairs and people sitting next to them gave up their seats so that the caregivers could sit. The theater was in Silicon Valley, but I felt like I was back in Iowa.
To top it off, the two most played songs in the country right now are:
“God’s Plan” by Drake
“Pray for Me” by Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar
Both hip hop no less. There ya go.
Just a warning, “Love Simon” doesn’t have anything to do with Simon the Zealot...
Saw both movies this weekend. Excellent!
There is definitely a strong niche market for Christian films.
A Wrinkle in Time is not doing well at the box office.
There’s not a big audience, apparently, who want to hear Oprah spew new age pablum.
Went last night for "The Fourth Cross". There were times I felt like I was in the rabble-rousing crowd when the crowd was demanding Barabbas's release.
Great talent. VERY reasonably priced. 2 minutes from CaroWinds.
I watch at home only.
This weekend: The third “God’s Not Dead” film.

There was never a doubt these movies would not fail to draw attention to what might be lacking in our society.
The public needs more of this. HOLLYWEIRD? ARE YOU HEARING US?
Thanks, SSF
