The Catholics who don’t want to hold priests accountable are the ones who are engaged in active sin.
The religion encourages active sin through the lie that sins can be forgiven by a priest in the confessional.
Ultimately, the logical foundation collapses along with the moral.

There are Catholics today "en masse" who pray and fast and pray and pray, well aware of the seriousness of the situation.
