Considering how many Catholics don’t expect to make ito heaven, I don’t think meeting Luther is going to be much of a concern for them.

Ouch, that’s going to leave a scar. Here is the thing, however. If indeed it IS true, that many Catholics don’t expect to make it to Heaven, why do they even bother trying? It seems to me, it’s all about eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die. I have assurance of salvation. If others don’t want any assurance, that is their problem. I don’t have a problem with it. 👍😀

That’s more the attitude I had when I was Catholic before I got saved.

I didn’t expect to make it so why try?

If I was going to hell, I might as well make it worth it.

BUT........ then I got saved and now I try to live as holy a life as possible because I want to please my heavenly Father, not cause I fear Him any more.
