The TLM priests we know of will not accept/endorse sodomy. They will go underground if necessary.

***

Then what makes them so different than the original Reformers who also refused to accept/endorse the sinful practices of the Catholics of the time and got excommunicated for it?

They may be due for another Reformation.

Are you serious? The heretic, Jorge Bergoglio, is no different than the herectic, Martin Luther. As a matter of fact, Bergoglio practically worships Luther.

The Catholic Church survived after Luther; and she will do so after Bergolio.

I find nothing of your popes heresy in the writings and teaching of Martin Luther and Luther would be as appalled at the Roman heresy of today as he was at the Roman heresy of his day. But confessional Lutherans follow Christ not Martin Luther anyway.

How about this: Be a sinner and sin boldly.

Care to explain how Bergoglio differs from Luther on this point?

Then why do they call themselves "confessional Lutherans"?

Actually, as I read the guidelines, it refers to the use of a foreign language in a post, not in a tagline.

When I went back to see what the RM was referring to; I could not find anything objectionable.

Then I noticed your tagline.

The Catholic Church survived after Luther...

Well; if you don't care that your one true church is about 1/2 the size it could have been if it had stayed on the tracks; I guess one could call that SURVIVING.

You are so mixed up.

Frank is analogous to Leo X and Martin Luther is the one who wanted to clear out the immorality and corruption of the papacy and get the church back to her roots, just like the pre-Vatican 2, traditionalist Catholics do in the protesting of Frank and the direction Roman Catholicism is going.

You and all those who are calling for a return of traditional Catholicism and are objecting to the church hierarchy at the modern day reformers.

I can remove it, but the harmless and, indeed, inspirational tagline has been there for many years.

YOURS is harmless, but other Catholics have used the Latin to disguise prayers of exorcism towards non-Catholic FReeeprs in the past and have so ruined it for everyone.

Now it's either translated or the translation must be given.

I don’t think Catholics even know what context is,as I’ve NEVER seen them take anything in it.

Aw...  shucks...

Unity!!!!

Pope Stephen VI (896–897), who had his predecessor Pope Formosus exhumed, tried, de-fingered, briefly reburied, and thrown in the Tiber.[1]

Pope John XII (955–964), who gave land to a mistress, murdered several people, and was killed by a man who caught him in bed with his wife.

Pope Benedict IX (1032–1044, 1045, 1047–1048), who "sold" the Papacy

Pope Boniface VIII (1294–1303), who is lampooned in Dante's Divine Comedy

Pope Urban VI (1378–1389), who complained that he did not hear enough screaming when Cardinals who had conspired against him were tortured.[2]

Pope Alexander VI (1492–1503), a Borgia, who was guilty of nepotism and whose unattended corpse swelled until it could barely fit in a coffin.[3]

Pope Leo X (1513–1521), a spendthrift member of the Medici family who once spent 1/7 of his predecessors' reserves on a single ceremony[4]

Pope Clement VII (1523–1534), also a Medici, whose power-politicking with France, Spain, and Germany got Rome sacked.

Your denomination has some serious issues.

It is not a "denomination", it's the One, Holy Catholic Church founded by Jesus Christ. And it has always had serious issues such as the Roman persecutions, Arianism, Donatism, moslem invaders, Martin Luther and Jorge Bergoglio.

The difference is that now the rot is from within.

Your college of cardinals put who they wanted in place and that was Francis.

We’ve been told that the Holy Spirit does not guide them in the selection of the pope either.

Roman Catholicism can then no longer lay any claim to being the one true church that Christ established, not the group that hosts cocaine fueled sex orgies at it’s headquarters in the Vatican, and if someone wants to try to claim that’s a recent development, they should read up on the Banquet of Chestnuts sometime and be warned that the filth they will find recorded in that event rivals what we hear today.

Seems like nothing has changed much since before the Protestant Reformation.

And Roman Catholicism cannot by ANY stretch of the imagination, claim to be *holy*.

Putting *holy* in its title is an abomination when one considers it’s actions, past and present.

Nor can it legitimately call itself the body of Christ as Christ would never condone the horrific immorality the Vatican perpetuates.

Some members of your denomination might actually belong to the One Holy catholic Church founded by Jesus Christ. But that Church consists of those who have washed their robes in His blood and have joined the royal priesthood of all believers. There are many members of your denomination (as any denomination) who do not know Christ or belong to His Church. The true Church will only be revealed at His coming.

The difference is that now the rot is from within.

Like Judas, the Arians, the Donatists, Martin Luter, Henry VIII and Bergolio they all were once "within" God's Church.

The Church still stands however.
