It’s Scripture that states that salvation if by faith without works.
It’s not a diversion from the truth. Scripture IS truth.
BTW, you did see the caucus label on this thread, did you not?
This salvation is again revealed through the prophet Ezekiel just to name one example. We all know of Isa 53, but why not Ezekiel, why do preachers avoid Ezekiel?
John 3:36 He who believe on the Son possess everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son, the wrath of God remains on them.
"He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him." [John 1:10-11 See 1Sam 8:7]
It was after this that the Son of God, the Word of God was born of the flesh. Therefore, there is nothing new under the sun regarding salvation. Those before hand looked forward to the day of the crucifixion of Christ, we look back to it, but the fact remains, there is only way back to the Father and that is through His Son, always has been and always will be. Hebrews 11 Shalom
You are confusing salvation with justification, what is the need for justification? And for the matter, how does the bible define faith? Is it just a confession?
