Except for a few sects of middle eastern Christians not aligned with the Roman and Eastern Catholic Church(and all Protestant groups were originated as a break away from Roman and Eastern Catholicism) . Catholics we’re here first and their lineage is from Peter. Catholics don’t worship idols. They sometimes present statues to REPRESENT and revere Jesus and Mary and the Saints (and what’s with the Mary hatred?). For illiterate serfs figures while being taught an oral lesson helped the stories hit home. One does not worship the statue
yes there were evil popes. We have one now. But he too will pass. You don’t throw out the baby with the bath water.
I don’t know who you’re talking to about worshiping idols and some such but I don’t appreciate that your comments are directed towards me. I am a faithful Catholic and if you don’t think this nativity is blasphemous then you’re the one with the problem.
