I sometimes think even if Jesus, Paul and John were to repeat the words they said/wrote for a few here they would accuse THEM of being heretics,too!
Little story that happened to me some many years ago. I was sitting with family and a Catholic priest at breakfast and we started talking about favorite Bible verses. I said mine was Ephesians 2:8,9 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. The priest looked at me and said, "That sounds Protestant to me." True story!
That’s a good one. I like it. It looks like you weren’t long deceived by false Catholic doctrine. I was 21 when I left the RCC, and not one single, solitary time, have I ever thought about swimming the Tiber.
Why would anyone give up assurance of salvation for the never ending hamster work wheel? I was on that hamster wheel long enough. I have no desire to get back on it. 😊🤣
By the way, I was at Fort Wayne Bible College in 1973. I met two EXTREMELY good looking females there. Both were ex Catholic nuns. Dedicated Godly women, and drop dead gorgeous. I struck out in the romance department, but at least I tried. 🤣😄😀 True story.
