My wife will lose her foot to amputation tomorrow or Wednesday. She's had a diabetic ulcer for a week or two so we called an ambulance Saturday. They don't think they can save it. She's in the same hospital as her father, so her mother is able to visit. I'm so shook up I can't eat and just lie in bed.

I’ll pray for your wife and for your comfort. But, from personal experience, pray for the peace of God for yourself and your wife, pray in all thankfulness for what you do have, know that you are still truly blessed even in the face of this potential surgery. Pray that His will be done and lift your burden up to Him. You’ll find some peace and strength sufficient to see yourself and your wife through this difficult time.
