I hope his doctor has provided enough of the right kind of pain relief. If he is not in a hospice, whoever lives with him may need training on administering those medications.

You are right. We lost my brother to pancreatic cancer last Christmas eve. He had excellent in home hospice care and my niece did an excellent job with pain management.
He was already in stage 3 when they caught it and it rapidly went to stage 4.
