There cannot be any legitimate pope if the Holy Spirit doesn’t guide in the selection process.

That would put it at zero since the office of pope is never mentioned in Scripture and there are no guidelines or instructions given in Scripture concerning said alleged office.

If the Holy Spirit doesn’t guide in the selection process, the only ‘Pope’ was St. Peter, and he would be horrified at what the RCC did to him and to Mary.

If the Holy Spirit doesn’t guide the selection process, then there is no Roman Catholic church; it was illegitimate from the moment they turned from Christian to Roman.
