No ..the rituals and teachings and that of adapting to the hoards and Rome. These were never intended to be part of the practiced nor part of the body of Christ. They didn't remove them nor discourage them rather included them into their teachings and added yet more..they left the centrality of Jesus Christ and His all sufficiency.
