I have not seen any rancor with Roman Catholics or with Orthodox. Protestants are a mere annoyance, not the be-all and end-all reason of our existence. For Jacck Chick Protestants Catholicism is a necessary establishment because without anti Catholicism they would have no meaning in life at all.

No Roman Pope in charge. No purgatory. No indulgences. No confession to a priest. No Eucharist. No praying to Mary...or other departed saints. There’s a lot more.

No divisions either.

You're not following the threads then.

I don't know if we're allowed to give names in public but there are a couple of Roman Catholics who go at each other from time to time.

Just start a thread on whether the current pope is legit or not. They'll come out.

Protestants are a mere annoyance, not the be-all and end-all reason of our existence. For Jacck Chick Protestants Catholicism is a necessary establishment because without anti Catholicism they would have no meaning in life at all.

Proving one of my observations that it is usually the Roman Catholic who resorts to the personal and/or profanity when the argument goes against them.

What I meant was back at the start of the Church.

The divisions would come later.

In reading Paul and John you see there were already divisions in the church. Hence, one of the reasons they wrote their letters.

But not on the day of Pentecost. In the years there would problems that would result in divisions.

A simple correction.

BTW, please do not respond to me anymore, in order to push your viewpoints.

On this I agree.

BTW, please do not respond to me anymore, in order to push your viewpoints.

As long as you don't refer to me either directly or indirectly in your posts.

You mean like Roman Catholics who are Pre Vatican 2 or those who are Post Vatican 2....or those who reject the current Pope? Or those who believe the papacy has been vacant since v2?

Where is Rome's exegesis of the New Testament? We've asked, but have so far not been provided, with Rome's exegesis of each verse in the New Testament.

I think it better to just live and let live. Whoever is “wrong” I’m sure will see the “error of their way” in God’s own time.

Would you take the same approach with a Mormon? A Muslim? An atheist?

Isn't the command of Christ to go out into all the nations and to make them disciples?

Luke 35 And the angel said to her,
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you,
and the power of the Most High will overshadow you;
therefore the child to be born[h] will be called holy,
the Son of God.

You own the bad translation.
