A Church shattered by a scandal of homosexual priests molesting teen boys. Many of the predators were protected by their superiors in the Church. Instead of cleansing the Church of the predators, the Church hierarchy decides to go full “gay rights”. This will be the death of the Church as we’ve know it. A remnant of the True Church will remain, but most of the western Catholic Church will fall into schism and then die the same death as the major Protestant denomination. The first Pope of the remnant Church will be from a third world country.
