Exactly. I also like to note that Paul, who had met the risen Jesus and had a step up on most of us as far as motivation, lamented about still doing the things he knew he shouldn't do and not doing that which he knew he should do.

The Bible also tells us, the poor in spirit are blessed and the kingdom of Heaven is theirs. Most that I know believe that means those who have been saved but who recognize that their sinful nature is still alive and well and who lament like Paul because they wish they could be better for Him and honor His gift better.
