The Church has always, always taught the Communion of the Saints since Christians were scratching evidence of it on the catacomb walls: that the saved are alive in Christ and can be entreated for their help and prayers.
But let's suppose it was just my understanding. And that I arrived at it *from this passage of Scripture*. How do you dare claim for yourself the absolute right to base your Christianity on Scripture alone, and then deny that right to me?
