According to Jesus, only one sin will not be forgiven.

Mark 3:28-30 (NASB)

“Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter;

but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”

because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”

I love the Mass & I’m ever grateful to God for the Peace it brings to me & my soul.

You've been touting your use of marijuana for this purpose all over FR. So which is it, does going to mass bring you peace or do you need to smoke pot to accomplish this?

Cannabis gives me peace from depression & anxiety.

Attending Mass, receiving the Body & Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ gives me Peace beyond my ability to explain.

If you can’t tell the difference between “peace” & “Peace” well, I will just pray for you anyway.

I’d suggest you’re not benefiting sufficiently from either mass or prayer if you need a psychoactive crutch. Maybe the two are interconnected somehow, have you ever considered this?

You are free to suggest whatever you wish.

I’m free to ignore your suggestion.

May the Peace of Our Lord, Jesus Christ be with you now & forever.

Thank you for admitting that.

I’m free to ignore your suggestion. May the Peace of Our Lord, Jesus Christ be with you now & forever.

And you, as well. You'll not find Him in the bowl of a bong, though.

Neither will anyone else. :)

I’m a thankful, happy Catholic convert. I don’t need to justify my beliefs to anyone but Our Heavenly Father & His Son, Jesus Christ.

Didn't Paul tell is to be ready to give an account at all times?

The Blessed Mother is who she is & no manner of argument will ever change that. If you don’t want to ask her to intercede for you, then don’t. I won’t care one bit lol

For starters her name is Mary....not the Blessed Mother.

We are not to pray TO her or rely upon her for salvation as taught by Romam Catholicism.

It would be more accurate to say Mary has been redefined to Roman Catholic dogma....not the Biblical description of Mary.

Submission of the will to God is no more "works based" than the submission of the intellect in an act of faith.

*submission of the intellect* is not what faith is defined as by God.

Even the demons believe and tremble. They know intellectually all the facts about God.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

I used the word sacramental, not sacrament.

A sacrament is an outward sign instituted by Christ to **give** grace, not simply an outward sign of inward grace.

A sacramental, otoh, is “anything set apart or blessed by the Church to excite good thoughts and to increase devotion, and through these movements of the heart to remit venial sin.”

A sacramental is, therefore, very different from a sacrament.

What IS blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?

I know the answer I would give, but I’m curious how others would respond.

I would guess that at some point in their lives they had Mezuzahs on their doorposts and wore Yarmulkes.

Even the demons believe and tremble. They know intellectually all the facts about God.

Let's see what the Bible says about that:

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,” but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it? So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead. Indeed someone may say, “You have faith and I have works.” Demonstrate your faith to me without works, and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works. You believe that God is one. You do well. Even the demons believe that and tremble. Do you want proof, you ignoramus, that faith without works is useless? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered his son Isaac upon the altar? You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by the works. Thus the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called “the friend of God.” See how a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. And in the same way, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she welcomed the messengers and sent them out by a different route? For just as a body without a spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead. (James 2:14-26)
Yes, the demons believe. James equates the belief of the demons with faith. They tremble, however, because their belief is without works. "Faith without works is dead."

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Both of these are acts of the intellect, so my comparison stands.

“A sacrament is an outward sign instituted by Christ to **give** grace, not simply an outward sign of inward grace.”

Since Christ didn’t say this in Scripture and no Apostle taught this in Scripture, what evidence can you share to support this truth claim? It
