All sins are indeed forgiven by baptism. But what of sins committed afterwards?

There is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood.

Dunking someone in water or pouring it on them does NOT remove sin from the spirit.

Water is not the right medium to apply to sin for the forgiveness of it.

These flame bait threads attacking the Reformation are being posted on a daily basis. I’m sure it will get worse this fall. There are those that cannot stand the thought that their errors have been exposed and corrected and the Reformation has lasted 500 years. Their loss but we should avoid being drawn into the same tired old tactics. That's the problem. Protestants don't follow any traditions. That why there are so many sects of protestants that disagree on birth control, abortion, homosexual marriage, divorce, etc. Name me one protestant sect that condoned homosexual marriage or abortion 100 years ago.

That is what this article is about Jorge Bergolio is a protestant, not a Catholic.

You should probably notice that this thread was about a Catholic topic. It was when Protestants entered to attack Catholic beliefs that the Catholics rose up to defend themselves.
