Hey, Hippie Pope Francis is YOUR problem.

Clean your own house first, then we can talk. We’ll be happy to give you a church home after he excommunicates all remaining faithful Catholics for refusing sodomy.

I look at this way:

Every time a Protestant bashes a Catholic, or a Catholic insults a Protestant, the Moslems and their liberal/commie allies laugh and get stronger and try to find a way to drive a wedge deeper.

At the end of the day, your head bounces the same height as it hits the floor whether you’re Protestant or Catholic, when some moslem savage is cutting it off.

If we aren’t a solid Wall, we’re going to fall.

Our Father in Heaven is quite capable of dispersing instruction to whomever He deems will serve Him. After all He used a jack-ass to stop a preacher for hire.

What even Luther still held to nearly every non-Catholic group in the US has abandoned long ago.

He saw that coming, too, when he complained that every, "plow boy has become his own pope" interpreting the subset of the Bible Luther retained any way they liked.

Then why are you on this thread?

And who is "us"?

>>Wow, bitter much?

About being freed by Christ and restored into an Indivual relationship with my Creator (who it appears created the Universe 13.5+ billion years ago)?

NOPE!

YMMV, but it's also self-evident to me that Thomas Jefferson's ETERNAL HOSTILITY was providently formed!

"...who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men, have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavoring to impose them on others, hath established and maintained false religions over the greatest part of the world, and through all time;

...

that it is time enough for the rightful purposes of civil government, for its officers to interfere when principles break out into overt acts against peace and good order; and finally, that truth is great and will prevail if left to herself, that she is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error, and has nothing to fear from the conflict, unless by human interposition disarmed of her natural weapons, free argument and debate, errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to contradict them. "

"I HAVE SWORN UPON THE ALTAR OF GOD ETERNAL HOSTILITY TO EVERY FORM OF TYRANNY OVER THE MIND OF MAN"
--The Virginia Act For Establishing Religious Freedom
--Thomas Jefferson, 1786

In that pic it looks like the pope has shoulder pads and a ‘cowboy collar’ under his robe. All he needs is a helmet and a football. Just don’t go in the locker room while he and his assistants are in there. The tall guy has a sour look. Constipation?

But what I really see is blind leaders of the blind. That is very tragic.

Everything anybody does is okay so long as one doesn’t adhere to Catholic Tradition or the Magisterium.

“Luther’s curse on the teachings of Christ has sent many souls to Gehenna”

Proof please.

“This now includes some 30,000 different sects of Christian worship from the Church of Rev. Jeremiah Wright to Joel Osteen and right down to the corner street foursquare Church that goes by First, this, that, or the other”

Most of who are doing much better than your pope, gay Vatican mafia, and leftist bishops and cardinals.... glass houses and all that.

hence the formal ordination of gays and lesbian pastors in many of these sects.

Oh, so it's just the formality that bugs you guys? Apparently so, with all the homosexual priests prancing around for the past thousand years.

It is incompetent, verging on the unethical, to attempt to explain much less understand Luther without examining the context in which he lived and the Papacy as it existed in the early 1500's.

And no, Luther was no mystic, far from it. He was a professor of theology, a priest and monk. He also suffered from scrupulosity, which led him to despair of salvation by works, after strenuous and torturous self discipline failed to bring him peace of mind. He found the answer he needed in Romans.

Y’all who?

I haven’t seen any non-Catholic on FR say anything that would indicate that.
