That statement never challenged your belief system, and yet you find it necessary to berate it. Sadly, that is not laughable. There is no room for healing or divine understanding in locked-in belief systems.

"There is no room for healing or divine understanding in locked-in belief systems"

The faith of Christ is a completely "locked-in", closed system that is AGGRESSIVELY defended through the Spirit:

...for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ...

God has authored His Word such that all error is attacked from multitude angles, from Genesis to Revelation. Immersion in the God-breathed Word (with faith) renews the mind and enables the least learned believer to spot the fakes of Satan. The sword of the Spirit speaks and the frauds are scattered.

Weaponry unavailable to the unbeliever.
