That organization is not the size of the Catholic church and I have never heard of it before now.

Maybe, but the fact of the matter is the Catholic Church does not own an exclusive monopoly on sexual misconduct. There’s plenty of pervs running around in protestant churches.

There are 1.2 BILLION Catholics in the world, and we are ONE church. Law of averages says that we’re going to have some bad guys in a church of 1.2 billion.

Protestant denominations are highly divided and split up, law of averages (likelihood of having pervs as members/pastors) does not apply to them in the same way.

What is considered a BIG church in Tempe AZ is only about three thousand. Even the biggest non-Catholic church in the U.S. is that megachurch in Houston run by Joel Osteen—but it still has less than 17,000 members. That’s 0.0014% of the size of the Catholic Church.
