Firstly, I am no Preterist. Since we have that issue around here, I know its a quick guess. Secondly, yes there are things that have yet to occur before the Day of the Lord. However, you have missed the point I was making... and maybe I was not clear to everyone. There is much debate about when the Rapture occurs (or if there is a ‘secret rapture’).
Matthew 24:44 “Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
Matthew 24:46 “Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.”
So what exactly is our mission here? That, is my message to everyone here. We should be witnessing to others and spreading the gospel (Great Commission, Matt. 28). If the September rapture was correct, then how much more so important is our task?

The “hour you do not expect” is the traditional hour of the new moon of Tishri 1.
IOW, he told his elect specifically which hour he would come.

Being ready is simply observing and obeying his Torah, as he made plain in Revelation 3:3. Obviously this is required, as made clear in the NT letters. Spreading the Gospel is simply teaching Torah.
Torah must be taught over time, as Acts 15 tells us, (Hearing Moses read “every Sabbath day) so there are basics to teach: Avoid meats offered to idols, and not consuming blood.
The Day of Trumpets is not a “Rapture,” it is a gathering of the elect, beginning with the early believers, such as Adam’s sons.
This is what constantly trips up those that want to invent a “church.” Nothing about the Bride has NT significance, other than the crucifixion producing the needed sinless blood on the mercy seat of the Ark.
The Kehillah has been ever-present for 6000 years. It has always been a remnant of the few in every era.
