If and when the Rapture of the Church occurs and Christians are spirited off the face of the earth to Heaven, how will the secular governments and media explain the phenomenon? Millions of people will suddenly be gone from the societies and populations of the earth. Many who thought or said that they were Christians, will still be here.

No, Eli, I am not confusing the two. I understand sanctification to be an ongoing process whereby hopefully a Christian continues to mature and be able to better resist sin. Being able to resist sin is not a requirement for salvation, obviously if I could resist sin on my own then I would not need Jesus for salvation. I just need to admit that I am a sinner and believe that Christ's death and resurrection can atone for my sins, then surrender to Him as Lord of my life. It is so simple. My point from the very beginning of this thread, has been that many people do not fully understand this.
Let me give you an example. Let's say that a friend says to me, "Apple Pandowdy, please tell me what I must do to be saved." If I just replied, Annie, all you have to do is believe." Now Annie, who has never read the Bible, looks at me a bit perplexed and says, "believe in what? I believe in the constitution. Will that do it? I also believe in Goodness and mercy, will that do it? " You can see that I would need to tell Annie just exactly what it means to "believe" in order to be saved, wouldn't I? There are many people who say they believe and so think they are saved, but do not know what it is that they must believe. Those people are going to be shocked and saddened to find one day that they are not going to heaven.
So Eli, may I ask you to explain exactly what one must believe in order to be saved?

IOW “believing” is living exactly as he lived; doing exactly as he did. (Keeping Torah)

4) I agree that the “Man of Sin” has not been revealed, but he will be revealed on September 5, 2017. He is a European, a Spaniard, his initials are J.S., he was born July 14, 1942.

50 years from 1967 falls in 2017, just as 50 years from 1917 fell in 1967.
Also, one must use the Biblical agricultural calendar, not the Roman calendar.
Common core doesn’t work any better in Torah than it does in everyday life.

The clock does not run unless both conditions are met. The “holy city” condition was met when Moshe Dyan and his troops entered Jerusalem on June 7, 1967. That is the day the clock started to run on the 70th week.
June 7, 1967 plus 17,640 days equals September 23, 2015.
The following year is a Jubilee year. It is also the first year of the next cycle.
The people and Jerusalem will not get another complete cycle. They are living on borrowed time. Their possession of the city will be cut off on October 5, 2017. Refer to Revelation 12:6.

The 460 day year is absolute stupidity from Hal Lindsay.
The beginnings of the Biblical years are governed by the ripening of the barley crop on the slopes of the Mount of Olives, as it affects the grinding of flour for the required loves of bread.
The barley is checked to determine if it is Aviv at the new moon, and that determination is what sets the beginning of the year.
The Jubilee cycle will be 50 365 day years averaged out, falling within a day or two.
Hal Lindsay cannot change your biological, corruptible body into a body as described in John ch 3 that can exist in the realm of Yehova, so listening to his folly is a sure fail.

Salvation is a choice whether to trust and believe that Christ has “finished” the work to propitiate the Father. If we trust Him, not our works, we appropriate salvation.
Christ speaking to Nicodemus compared salvation to the look upon the brazen serpent in the wilderness. When we add to the work by requiring an aisle walk, a baptism, a repentance from overt sins, we subtract from His accomplishment.
It’s like requiring your daughter to pay fifty cents before she gets a gift at Christmas. It may not be much in comparison but it destroys the concept of grace.
