For example our acts of obedience to commandments are not works.
Works are human concoctions of actions that ‘should’ please Yehova (but never do). (for example the Pharisees Takanot and Ma’assim, or the Catholics Christmas, Lent, and Easter)

He made us to perform good works, but we are not saved by works. They aren’t human concoctions. When they are part of His Plan, many have ben logistically predestines to occur.
