You can dream that you are right, but your presumption and perhaps your lack of understanding does not agree with the words of Jesus Christ. You and many others who believe that they can not lose their salvation may be in for a surprise upon your death. I do hope that you and many others find salvation with our Lord, but you must endure to the end. I do feel that it is wrong to give false hope to others.

Scripture teaches that one’s final salvation depends on the state of the soul at death. As Jesus himself tells us, “He who endures to the end will be saved” (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31–46). One who dies in the state of friendship with God (the state of grace) will go to heaven. The one who dies in a state of enmity and rebellion against God (the state of mortal sin) will go to hell.

Regarding the issue of whether Christians have an “absolute” assurance of salvation, regardless of their actions, consider this warning Paul gave: “See then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness; otherwise you too will be cut off” (Rom. 11:22; see also Heb. 10:26–29, 2 Pet. 2:20–21).

Even though it was not addressed to you in particular, you would do well to read carefully post #238 and ponder the TRUTH therein.

Again, the passages in Matthew 24-25 about enduring to the end are for those who are living through the tribulation period after the church has been removed from the earth.

Jesus is not talking to church age believers.

Context is your friend, even though it’s apparently a foreign concept to Catholics.

Scripture teaches that one’s final salvation depends on the state of the soul at death. As Jesus himself tells us, “He who endures to the end will be saved” (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31–46)

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

The end of what??? Do you know the context...Do you even know what they are talking about??? I'd say not...

Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

This isn't about enduring to the end of one's life...It's about enduring for a period of time...And that time is the Great Tribulation...It has nothing to do about losing salvation...It's about people saving their lives if they make it thru the tribulation...
