The General Assembly of the Church of Scotland has approved an apology to gay people for the history of discrimination they have faced in the Church.
Commissioners also approved a report which could pave the way to allow some ministers to conduct same sex marriages in the future.
A report of the committees findings will be presented to the General Assembly next year for further discussion.
Commissioners also agreed that the Church should take stock of its history of discrimination against gay people, at different levels and in different ways, and apologise individually, corporately and seek to do better.

Well.
The official declaration that they are no longer a Christ-centered church, but a Genital-centered Sodomite cult.
Someone get the lights and call the realtors. The Spirit has departed.
The new Golden Calf is a statue of the High Holy Anus and the Sainted Rectal Prolapse.
Has the word ‘abomination’ been redefined?
I suspect they will next apologize to Satan.
The Church acceptance of islam is 1E e12 more concerning than how these followers of their personal desires are not harming innocents.

And the countries are falling. . .one by one. . .from the inside. I guess they didn’t read “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”
2 Timothy 4:3-4 applies.
You’re right, but this is the tail end, pun intended, of saying that every form of heterosexual sin is all good. If people didn’t want a moral pass for every form of opposite-sex-using sin, they wouldn’t be agreeing to it for same-sex behavior.
Well, that’s that. As denominations go, it had a good run.
Revelaton 21: 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lambs Book of Life.

Revelation 3
14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea, write this:
“’The Amen, the faithful and true witness, the source of God’s creation, says this:
15 “I know your works; I know that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either cold or hot.
16 So, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.
17 For you say, ‘I am rich and affluent and have no need of anything,’ and yet do not realize that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.
18 I advise you to buy from me gold refined by fire so that you may be rich, and white garments to put on so that your shameful nakedness may not be exposed, and buy ointment to smear on your eyes so that you may see.
19 Those whom I love, I reprove and chastise. Be earnest, therefore, and repent.
20 “’”Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, [then] I will enter his house and dine with him, and he with me.
21 I will give the victor the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself first won the victory and sit with my Father on his throne.
22”’”Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’”
* [3:14-22] The letter to Laodicea reprimands the community for being lukewarm (Rev 3:15-16), but no particular faults are singled out. Their material prosperity is contrasted with their spiritual poverty, the violet tunics that were the source of their wealth with the white robe of baptism, and their famous eye ointment with true spiritual perception (Rev 3:17-18). But Christ’s chastisement is inspired by love and a desire to be allowed to share the messianic banquet with his followers in the heavenly kingdom (Rev 3:19-21).

They just voted themselves out of existence as a Christian church.
they can apologize and change all the church doctrine they want till the cows come home, but they will NEVER change God’s position....count on it.

Leviticus 20:13
Exactly. There is no real Church difference between hot-rodding your neighbor’s wife or her husband.

I never met him or her. They are welcome to spell it out to me in person. God has not mentioned to me what others do that harm none...only that which I choose to do.
