I agree with others that it depends on what you consider “literal”. I believe that it is all inspired by God. And it was obviously very sacred - with every “jot and tittle” reproduced perfectly. Literal to me makes me think of Joseph Smith looking into his hat and reciting, word by word, his “scriptures”.

I like the previous poster pointing out that the 10 Commandments were the literal words. And I suppose we can count the words of Jesus as the literal words of God. BUT - even then, Jesus spoke so much in parables and stuff that even His words can’t be taken literally.
