All the commandments, every single one of them, are rolled up into just two commandments: 1) Love God with all your heart, soul and mind; and 2) Love your neighbor as yourself.
So, yes, we are to keep the commandments. Whether we do that is another issue. That is why we have the grace of God.

That's right. If you do those two, the rest will automatically happen.
But the Law was given to us to show us what we do that is NOT loving God our our neighbor with our whole heart.
If we do any of those things, that is not love.
