Amen to all the prayers going forth from these threads!

Dearest Father in Heaven,

We praise You for giving us Yourself. What a gracious and powerful Lord You are. You inhabit the praises of Your people, so I praise You for all You do on our behalf. You are our Deliverer, Strong Tower and Help. Let us look up and see Your Son who was given to us and live.

May You confound and turn the evil schemes of the enemy back on their heads. Lord, the deceivers are within and outside the gate. You know the secret thoughts of all mankind. None can hide from Your eyes. We look forward to Your deliverance. Increase our faith and trust in You. Thank You for Your Holy Word that comforts us, guides us and encourages us to draw close to You. Lord, for all those that are visiting these daily prayer threads and communing together bound by Your Holy Spirit, I ask that we each increase our devotion and commitment to You as well as each other. May we be one as Jesus and You are one. Do a mighty work right here. Let others see the love broadcast and worship You. It is only by Your Spirit that we can put our prideful and selfish ways aside.

Let revival begin in our hearts and let it rush across this nation and world like a mighty storm, for Your namesake and Your glory. In the matchless name of Jesus, I pray.

Psalm 46

1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.

2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.

5 God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.

6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
he lifts his voice, the earth melts.

7 The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.

8 Come and see what the Lord has done,
the desolations he has brought on the earth.

9 He makes wars cease
to the ends of the earth.

He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields with fire.

10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

11 The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
