You know speaking of being a "cradle" Catholic, I remember even at a very young age sitting through Catechism classes for First Holy Communion and then Confirmation plus religion classes in Catholic school, thinking that there was something more, something not quite the whole truth in what I was being taught. It was when I was walking home from Mass one Sunday at 15 years old that I prayed and said, "God, if you are out there and if there is any such thing as truth, I want to know it.". Within a few months (maybe three or four) I was sitting in a Southern Baptist Sunday school class (my grandparents' church) and the teacher handed me a Bible turned to John 10:27-30 and, when I read it, a light turned on in my soul and I KNEW God had answered my prayer.

(God is ready to assume full responsibility for the life wholly yielded to Him.)
