You've shown me stuff about the holy spirit and added your theory (and the theory of 4th and 5th century people) that there is a "trinity". But no biblical figure, including our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, recognized it as such.

There's not even debate about this point. History is clear that the trinity doctrine did NOT become part of Christianity until over 3 centuries after Christ died. That means that no biblical figures believed it or taught it.

Just where do you think “they” got the idea of a Trinity to be able to formally define it? You are simply ignoring the clear Scripture that WAS the basis for the doctrine. If the Apostles didn’t believe that way, then why did they teach about it in their letters to the churches??? You look at some passages and add your OWN theory but you ignore way too much that disproves it.

Why would Jesus tell the apostles to baptize in the name of “Father, Son and Holy Spirit” then (Matt. 28:19)? That would be blasphemy unless the Holy Spirit is God as well. This is confirmation of the trinity from the lips of Christ Himself, debunking your claims that it did not come until centuries later.

You can believe Jesus and the trinity, or reject the trinity and reject the words of Jesus. Your choice.
