As Khmer Rouge guerrillas they took part in genocide. Now, as Christians, they ask for forgiveness

This man's experience as both a child, young adult and ultimately an adult growing up in a country torn by war since 1954 will never be understood by anyone who has grown up living in the luxury and comfort of the United States... That's for sure...

That's for sure...
And I would go so far as to say that those Vietnamese who were able to successfully escape to the United States have more loyalty to this country and what it has afforded them than half the population born and raised here.........
FWIW, my best friend's girlfriend is a Vietnamese refugee who escaped to the U.S. with her parents as a young girl. My nephew's best friend, who is now a doctor, was born in North Dakota to parents who were also Vietnamese refugees.................

If "they" are serious then they don't need all this world hoop-la.
As Catholics they must confess their sins.
As other non-Catholic Christians then they need only say to the Lord that they are sorry...and that's enough to be forgiven.

Never free, never rehabilitated. Christianity cannot be a path for such murderers to walk free. Heck, anyone can kill anyone, claim forgiveness, and move on. Seriously? Paul is glad you weren't around in his day.
