We have communion every worship service.

If you're Protestant then you're not eating the Body of Christ, you're just eating some empty carbs in what is simply a memorized act.

And our services are not memorized responses.

From my perspective as a practicing Roman Catholic and as a musician for a couple of Protestant churches I'd say that at any given service amongst the various denominations there is a mix of people who are simply uttering or reading responses without thinking about the words at all, and others for whom the words are thoughtful and heartfelt.

Eucharist, or empty-carb-munching; you have the freedom and choice to partake of either.

You guys generally have better music (you're welcome) though, I'll give that.

Why do wheat-intollerant people get extremely ill from partaking of the Catholic communion-wafer?

I ate the body of Christ two times in times past...I have never been a Catholic...Never will be...

Some priest turned a wafer into Jesus Christ and I got in line with my Catholic girl friend and the priest fed me Jesus...Apparently Jesus didn't mind...

As

(your own words of self-identification), when you and other "practicing Catholics" consume consecrated Eucharist wafer --- are any carbohydrates, at all, included?

Does the bread, the official "wafers" --- when the Lord's Supper is conducted within official 'Catholic' communion --- still retain the same measure of carbohydrates after consecration as it did prior to when it was consecrated?

You may think this a silly question, but there is reason for my asking it.

Can you answer? Would your own understanding lead you to say "yes", or "no"?
