“You cannot worship God by worshiping (sic) a created being other than Him.”

Oh, yes I can worship God by worshipping His mother Mary.

“Same as you can not be at the same time praying to Him when you are praying to another of His created beings.”

Oh, yes I can pray to God by praying to His mother Mary.

To: Repent and Believe

You are a fool, so perhaps God will wink at your idiocy.

Total and unadulterated nonsense.

You cannot worship God through worshiping Mary. Mary is not God.

Attention, worship, prayers, whatever, directed towards Mary are robbed from God.

Peter got it. Catholics need to take lessons from him.

Acts 10:25-26 When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him. But Peter lifted him up, saying, “Stand up; I too am a man.”

You can worship and pray to God directly without going *through* another human being.

Claiming you can do it through another human being to justify the practice is just more of the rationalization and mental gymnastics Catholics use to justify their disobedience to what God tells us in Scripture.

Oh, yes I can worship God by worshipping His mother Mary.

No you can't:

I am the LORD, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.
(Isaiah 42:8)

We know that a kindness done to a Christian is as if it was done to Christ. But worship is not transferable, especially since you have helpfully confirmed you make no meaningful distinction between the worship given God and the worship given Mary in your statement above. If you had worded it differently, it might come out differently. For example, if you had said, "By deeply respecting Mary, I am giving worship to God," that, though it still seems a stretch, would at least be plausible. But if you throw all caution to the wind and use the same word for both, in English, worship, then you own the idolatry. Sorry. You do. Otherwise, words mean nothing and this entire collection of posts is random gibberish. If you propose to do us poor 'infidels' any good, at least try to defend what your words commit you to. You do worship Mary. I'm glad you're beng honest about it. But it is still wrong.

Oh, yes I can pray to God by praying to His mother Mary.

Based on what evidence in Scripture?  There is nothing to support the theory that attempting to speak to a deceased believer results in that message being transferred to God. Furthermore, while enjoining the prayer support of living Christians is good, it is no substitute for you offering your own prayers to God, which He is willing to answer if you seek Him out. If you feel less worthy than some other sinner, remember that everyone is a sinner and all of us have access to God ONLY because Jesus the Righteous has lived and died and rose again in our stead, and by so doing qualifies all of us who believe to seek the Father's attention in prayer.

Peace,

SR
