To: Repent and Believe; Elsie
In response to your blasphemies see this post by Eric I just found where prostrating before human dignities is profuse in the Holy Scriptures.

Which is another fallacious argument, which thus far is all i have seen from you, for only prostrating before human dignities itself is not the argument for what constitutes worship, though you cannot find Elizabeth even doing that, but neither is that excluded from being part of worship, as forbidden in the 10 commandments and such as what the devil demanded of Christ. (Mt. 4:9) And NT believers are never shown bowing in obeisance NT believers (except in washing feet), which Peter himself disallowed. (Acts 10;25,26; cf. Matthew 23:8-12)

And in light of how both the OT and NT describe worship, one would have a hard time in Bible times explaining kneeling before a statue and praising the entity it represented in the unseen world, beseeching such for Heavenly help, and making offerings to them, and giving glory and titles and ascribing attributes to such which are never given in Scripture to created beings (except to false gods), including having the uniquely Divine power glory to hear and respond to virtually infinite numbers of prayers individually addressed to them.

Which manner of adulation would constitute worship in Scripture, yet Catholics imagine that by playing word games then they can avoid crossing the invisible line between mere "veneration" and worship.

Moses, put down those rocks! I was only engaging in hyper dulia, not adoring her. Can't you tell the difference?

Caths should only do (and I should do more of) what Mary and every believer in Scripture did in praying to Heaven, which was to pray directly to the Lord, not saintly secretaries. But they must truly become born again for that.

No wonder you only include NT sources in your website,

What are you talking about?

Here is a list of all the books, and my pages contain abundant references to the OT, while my NEW TESTAMENT, with commentary page is a continuation of a complete Old Testament chapter-by-chapter Bible study done by me at Christians Unite (no formal affiliation), neither of which is purposed to be a substitute for a Scripture search page.

If you are referring to my page on how the NT describes worship, that is actually provided in response to a Cath. argument from the Greek, and thus your argument is with them But if it helps then I have provided OT words used for worship.

as your agenda is to wipe out the Christian worship of Mary

Yes, that is an agenda, and i am glad you admit it is worship, and which, as shown, the OT and NT condemns.

as a dignitary and thus establish the one world religion of Ridiculism (Protestantism) as YOUR father, Mr. Luther had begun 500 years ago.

Another vain substitute for an actual argument.

Which again is worthless, unless the argument is that simply giving obeisance to man necessarily constitutes worship, while if you had read what i had provided then you would have seen that is not the argument, though that often is part of what Scripture manifests as worship.

By the way, I would like to see your sources for the worship of Mary but I thank you for posting them, as off hand they appear to be legitimate and I wish for all who read your posts to see how Mary ought to be loved! Thank you!

The link was sppsd to be the * in "in the the Catholic quest to almost deify Mary, it is taught by Catholics*," but FR changes in page links to itself, and which i forgot to rectify. Sorry. Here is what it linked to, which are mostly papal teachings and esteemed "saints" and or approved writings. .

Great resources.

Giving due respect to an OT monarch is giving due respect to his position. Daniel knew where to draw the line:

Daniel 6: King James Version (KJV)

4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

6 Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.

7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

8 Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

9 Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.

10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.

12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

13 Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.
