You misunderstand me. The belief in Jesus is the doorway. The door must be entered, as in your belief must be tested, and the test is that of obedience.
Read all that Jesus taught and ask if you are obedient to it all. In as much as you aren’t, you don’t have faith in his miracles.
You invert the simple test recorded in Scripture. Obedience may verify that our belief is sincere. But we do not place our trust in our own obedience. That’s upside-down from the Gospel message, that the death of Christ is what reconciles us to God the Father and secures our place in His kingdom, not the perfection of our theology or our life practices.
In fact, Paul says the law was given as a teacher to show obedience is impossible, in order to lead us to faith in Christ, because we know that without His forgiveness and resurrection power living in us, no amount of obedience can ever save us. All believers are imperfect in their compliance with the teaching of Jesus, and will be so until the resurrection. But they are still believers, still in a permanent status of adopted sons and daughters. We do not lose that status for every event where we fall short of our high calling in Christ, no more than we disown our own sons and daughters when they sometimes disappoint us. Are we better people than God? God forbid! We may be disciplined, as children often are, but we are still accounted as those who believe, who are indwelt by God’s Holy Spirit, and rightful heirs to all the promises He has made to those who trust in Him.

Jesus put no such condition on our faith.
It doesn't have to be tested to be saved. He simply said, *If you believe*

And is entered by faith and here is news for Catholics. NOBODY can EVER be obedient in everything God requires of us. It's not going to happen. It's simply not possible here on earth in this mortal body.
Anyone who thinks they can go even a day without sinning is deceiving themselves.

What? If we don't obey we don't have faith in His miracles?
Faith in His miracles isn't required. Faith in HIM is.
And if we obey it shows our love for Him, but it has no connection to faith in His miracles.

Your/my church fallen, your/my parents fallen, and your/my earth fallen and cursed, but rejoice beloved for our Great Savior Jesus took our crown of thorns, took our nails, took our stripes. took our plucking, and took our death so that we could and have freedom and eternal life guaranteed.
The thief on the crossed summed it up exactly to the point.
In his time of near death on the cross he come to the reality that he was fearing/reverance of God.
He admitted I have sinned and deserve the cross and the death because of what I have done in life.
He admitted that Jesus was innocent.
He finally realized that he had nothing left, nothing to give, or nothing he could do except put his faith in Jesus Christ and he said Jesus remember me when you come into your Kingdom. At that very moment Jesus said today you will be with Me in Paradise.
Notice at that very moment the thief was saved, and while he was on the cross still dying he was being saved, and and later that day he was in Paradise with Jesus saved.
Example... I was saved, I am being saved, and I will be saved.
Note the one difference between rc’s and prot is that you rc’s think that the church, pope, Mary, or you can do something for God, but prot thank God for what He has already done for us realizing we are just too lost to do anything for Him.
All we can do is have Faith in what He has already done, not what we can or will do.
