The GWT is a judgment seat where works are the key weighing factor. Christians will have had a Bema Seat judgment by The Bridegroom, in Heaven, during the seven years of Tribulation. So we would not be at the GWT to be judged. The Grace of God in Christ is that JESUS has covered our sin debt because we have faith in Him as Savior. Those at The GWT are there because they did not have their sin debt covered by the infinite Grace of God so they are standing for judgment based on what they depend upon, a ‘balance scale’ ... which could never equal God’s Infinite Grace in Christ Jesus.

I think your position has very solid scriptural interlocking support. One thing we ought not to forget is that while God's Secial Revelation has always been progressive on the timeline, it is comprehensive (but not exhaustive) and culminated at the end of the first century with the death of Beloved John, the theologian, when he died. And depite what the error-bent preterists, that would be at t he age of about one hudred years ol. For me, our presence at GWT occurs a lo-o-ong time after The Kingdom of God has joined forces with the earthly temporal Kingdom of Heaven, when the Devil was chained and sent to the bottomless pit for a thousand years (Rev. 20:2). The GWT takes place after That old devil was alowed to reemerge, then bound again. I believe we will be at the GWT when Jesus is the judne, because after our much earlier resurrection. ". . . so shall we ever be with Him." (1 Thwess. 4:17).
(Got to go on an errand now, despite possible typos)

Elsie, do you believe The Blood of Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness?

I wonder how I'm going to feel at the GWT, when I was too lazy or not enough alert when not a few that I failed to reach with the saving gospel and example are cast into LOF. Right now, I feel tears. But I think God will oversee it all. Even so, I will be no gladder than The Father is when someone slips into oblivion and torment. Just sayin' . . .
Enjoy CA while you can, eh? I have a few friends out tthere, mostly around Santa Barbara and San Diego, though. Far from the Golden Gate and Berkley. Up there, smell the camillaias.

Elsie, do you believe The Blood of Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness? I think my record on FR might speak to this question.
I come down mighty heavily on the side of being able to trust what is written in Scripture; and this; surely is; in SCRIPTURE!
1 John 1:9 KJV
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

Are you familiar with the reference ‘Bema Seat of Christ’, and if so are you conflating that with the Great White Throne of Judgment?

I've had to look it up; as it is not found in any English translation.
As far as conflating; I', just posting what the Bible says about the GWT.
Revelation 20:11-15
"Then I saw a great White Throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and THE BOOKS WERE OPENED. Another book was opened WHICH IS THE BOOK OF LIFE. The dead were judged according to their works as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to their works. Then death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire. The Lake of Fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written IN THE BOOK OF LIFE, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

So you believe Christians, those who are the Bride of Christ, shall go through the Tribulation? What do you do with 1 Thess 1:9&10, and 1 Thess 4:13-18, and 1 Cor 15:51 - 54?
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. God has not appointed The Bride of Christ to wrath, but to obtain salvation to the Glory of Jesus their Savior. The coming Tribulation is not for The Brdie, for God Promises to not pour out His wrath upon those trusting Christ.

Um, I’ll leave this right there. You apparently do not know what the Tribulation is or what God’s word says about the reasons for it ands the duration. There is no common ground with which I can go further. Have a nice evening.
