The Lord gave Ezekiel a prophecy to enact. Ezekiel lay on his right side for 390 days for the 390 years of iniquity of the children of Israel. Then he lay on his left side for 40 days for the 40 years of the iniquity of the people of Judah. The total years of iniquity were 430 years. (390 + 40 = 430).
“Lie also on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it. According to the number of the days that you lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity. For I have laid on you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days; so you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. And when you have completed them, lie again on your right side; then you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days. I have laid on you a day for each year.” Ezekiel 4:4-6.
Isn't that something. Now if it were an off-the-cuff statement or slip-up in a blog post it would be one thing, but this is the writing out of the research "carefully" laid out on the website.
It reminds me of the professional photographer hired by the British royals who photographed a tree growing out of the lad's head. :-/
It's actually easy to keep the directions straight:
left side = north or west
right side = south or east
(ancient or modern direction orientations respectively)
Also,
The Northern Kingdom (Israel - Joseph, Ephraim) is in the west.
The Southern Kingdom (Judah) is in the east.
Matthew 24:27-28 For as the lightning [gleam of a lamp] cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Actually, much of the northern kingdom is in east asia (china, Japan, Korea).
