There are some easy ways to tell if someone or something are good or bad. Use the Seven Deadly Sins as your guide.
Vanity, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, and Envy.
Vanity is the cardinal sin, the sin of Lucifer. It is to imagine oneself in the role of God. It is also the most common and easiest trap to fall into. Even the current Pope has fallen into this trap, imagining that socialists must be righteous, even though they are motivated by vanity to imagine themselves as God, because they claim the same goals as the righteous. But the ends of socialism are always awful, harming many innocents along the way.
If someone is motivated by one or more of these sins, or if a goal involves one or more of these sins, odds are that theirs is not a path to success, but more likely harmful failure. They may seem to succeed for a while, but they pay a high price, even on Earth.
It was a historical event, at the Democrat National Convention that nominated Obama for the second time, when the mob denied God three times. From that moment, their sacraments became the Seven Deadly Sins, and they bowed down to whatever darkness would feed their cravings for these sins.
They had achieved the unity of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Let us pray, pray and pray. Only God can resolve the mess we are in today!
