No, this is an old story, the station has already dropped Christmas music and is now playing a “Greatest Hists” format:

Earlier this month (NET NEWS 11/9), iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WXXM (92.1 THE MIC)/MADISON, WI dropped its liberal talk format and flipped to an all-CHRISTMAS Music stunt as “MADISON’s HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS 92.1 BEST FM.” TODAY (11/23), the station stopped stunting and flipped to Classic Hits as “REWIND 92.1, MADISON’s Greatest Hits station.”
REWIND 92.1 will broadcast MADISON’s Greatest Hits from artists including THE EAGLES, ELTON JOHN, MICHAEL JACKSON, FLEETWOOD MAC and others. The station will announce its full programming lineup at a later date.
